LARGEST PLAYABLE WORD WINDER BOARD

Dear Friends, 

We're a little over a week away from our "Super Explorers Set the World Record: Largest Playable Word Winder Board" on Sunday, July 16th at the Harold Washington Library's Winter Garden ( located on the 9th floor). The event will start at 1pm , with the record setting attempt beginning at 1:30.  There will be craft stations and music for patrons to engage with when the GIANT [GIANT] Word Winder is not being played. 

In order to set the record we are arranging 20 sets of the GIANT Word Winder game in order to create one GIANT [Giant] Word Winder Board and play Word Winder Sprint! We will play several rounds until we narrow down our winner! The GIANT Word Winders which will be used during this event (and afterwards find home in various CPL branches) were purchased through the David L. Hoyt Education Foundation due to an extremely generous $9,500 donation from the Talking Rain Beverage Co. (the makers of Sparkling Ice). With their kind donation we are one step closer to our goal of securing a GIANT Word Winder for every CPL branch.
