We have designed a short program that walks students through what it's like to build a puzzle for the Word Search World Traveler App. Students are greeted on Zoom or Google Classroom by our staff and David Hoyt. We start the program with Hoyt talking to students about his job as a puzzle designer. Then we work with the students to create a new word search puzzle together that will be featured a few days later in the free-to-download app. Students will learn about what makes a good puzzle and how David uses code to manipulate the puzzles design and content. We leave time for questions and conversation about puzzles at the end. Programs vary in length from 30-45 minutes. The examples above are of fruits and birds, but puzzles can be tailored to fit ANY subject matter that needs reviewing or emphasis. We welcome any ideas, or requests you may have to tailor this program to your students. Register for one of our complimentary workshops for adults and families.
