Our Board is expanding! We are looking for directors to sit on our board that will help us continue the momentum we've created during phase one of our organization. As we transition into Phase two, we are in search of individuals who believe in our mission and are willing to be active in their governance roles. We are specifically looking for individuals with experience in finance, education, and non-profits. We ask our board members to fulfill the following duties:
Conduct at least one site/programming visit per year
Build relationships with staff and other board members
Purchase tickets and attend organizational events
Help recruit board members, volunteers and other DLHEF partners.
We also suggest board members:
Pay annual dues to the board in the amount of $225 (covers D&O Insurance)
Contribute to fundraising efforts by raising at least $300 in any of the following ways:
Host a fundraising event
Sell tickets for DLHEF Fundraising events
Work with Executive Director and Fundraising Staff to pursue referrals for funding
Add 3 individual donors per year to raise public awareness of DLHEF
