During the Summer of 2017, we visited 22 Chicago Public Library branches and delivered programming to roughly 500+ kids throughout the city. We also secured 20 GIANT games for CPL branches and helped CPL set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Playable Word Winder Board. Additionally, through our community outreach we have also served an additional 400+ kids during various events and classroom visits.
We have just completed a public engagement project called Word Play Way in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. On the Western sidewalk of Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to Welles park and across the street from Sulzer Regional Library, you will find a 590-foot word search stenciled onto the sidewalk between Sunnyside and Montrose Avenues.
